Hair Knickers

The cyclists reading this might have an idea of what the title is about... ;)

There's a cycling phenomena that appear on some men (and women??), called 'hair shorts'. It's when one shaves their legs only to when their shorts start...and when standing shortless, it looks like they're wearing shorts made of hair.

Anyway, i'm currently sporting a lurvly pair of hair knickers - yes, it goes to my knees..hahhah

(No - not in length!! But i only shaved up to my legs..haha..perverts.)

In other bike news, the Argon18 has been *very* fun to ride. Very comfy, and *fast*. My front wheel (Kysirium Elite, black!) came in last Friday (thanks Oak Bay Bikes!!), and i also plopped on my orange Conti 4000's, and it's noticeably lighter..and looks sexy. The front wheel seems to like to go fast, as with the rest of the bike.

Only thing i'm waiting on now is the Thompson seatpost i ordered - i need the 'center offset' - i think i have short femurs or something. I need my saddle to be really forward.

Update on the Specialized Toupe saddle: gawd damn, this thing is COMFY. Definitely getting one for the track too.

Track starts next week - yippee!! My bike is ready to fly - i moved my Conti tubulars over to my trispokes from my training wheels. Will need to order some aerobars (Profile T2+ on their T2 Wing) and then i'll be set for the track.

Training-wise, this week is a rest week, then i move into doing my first intervals above LT - prolly a few sets of 3minsx6 or something...fun times. ;)

It'll be interesting to see the power ratings i get from these. I'll go and do them on the track for consistency.

Last Sunday i also did a 4hr solo ride, i think it's the first time i've ridden this distance solo, oddly enough! (I miss our rides Kevin!!!)

The OA-Victoria chapter is buzzing along nicely! We've got ~7 members, and at least four of us will be racing in the colors (two triathletes, and another roadie besides me). Lemme know if you're in Vic and wanna represent!
