Recipes! -- Feature

I'm happy to announce i've started my own recipe page! Now you too can enjoy healthy, nutritious high-carb vegan snacks and meals! (Of course, you probably were anyway. Maybe you'll find something new and helpful tho!)

Mmmm, can't wait for the insta-sushi! =) For oatmeal, I find that you don't need to cook it in a saucepan - just add water to the whole oats (boiling water for faster results, but room temp. works too) and let it sit. You can soak it overnight and it's ready for you in the morning. This way you don't cook off so many of the nutrients and enzymes.

True enough, no need to cook it..tho i believe they're all pretty cooked to begin with, so i don't know if you'll lose any more nutrients...but still, a good way to save cleaning a pot. =)
